Eric T. Hedge, MSc

Eric Hedge holds a Master of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, and specializes in research about how the cardiovascular and respiratory systems change during periods of inactivity and aging. He has expertise in conducting research about cerebral blood flow regulation in young and older adults, as well as interventions aimed at preventing orthostatic intolerance.
Eric is currently completing his Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo as part of the Vascular Aging and Brain Health Lab within the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging. His doctoral thesis work focuses on using wearable sensors and artificial intelligence to predict changes in health and fitness as people age, and is supported by a Canada Graduate Scholarship from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
