Astrid F. Pilgrim, MD

Dr. Pilgrim received her MD from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA in 2014. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Stony Brook University Hospital in 2017, followed by a year as the Chief Resident of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety at the Northport VA Medical Center in 2018, and then a geriatric medicine fellowship at Jackson Health System/University of Miami in Miami, FL in 2019.

Her current research interests lie in geriatric end of life care in low or middle income countries along with geriatric care, management, and outcomes in the ICU.
