Dr. Shachi Tyagi, MD, MS is a geriatrician certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Tyagi received her medical degree from Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in India and completed her internal medicine residency at the Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI followed by geriatric fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh. She continued to train in post-doctoral fellowship in clinical research at University of Pittsburgh and earned her Masters of Science in clinical research. She is a clinician researcher and devotes her time to clinical research in the geriatric population. Her research interests include the bidirectional relation between sleep and lower urinary tract symptoms in older adults.
