Samer Shamout, MD

Dr. Samer Shamout earned his M.B.B.S in medical studies in 2005 at Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed his clinical MSc. training in Urology in 2010 at the Alexandria University of Egypt. Dr. Shamout has been practicing since 2010, the first 5 years in United Arab Emirates, at the Ministry of Health Hospital, selected as one of the top hospitals in the United Arab Emirates.

His practice specializes in voiding dysfunction, urodynamics, and urogenital reconstruction. His interests also include neurogenic bladder dysfunction and incontinence. Dr. Shamout is also a clinical research fellow (Urology) at McGill University. Most recently, he was awarded the International Continence Society best abstract in category prize. Dr. Shamout is actively involved in several basic and clinical research projects. He is a member of several national and International Societies including the International Continence Society and Society of urodynamics, female pelvic medicine & urogenital reconstruction. Dr. Shamout is also involved in medical education, teaching students, and organizing several medical education activities.
